Scott Derrickson's claustrophobic thriller remains effective without requiring a sequel. Located in 1970s Colorado, several child abductions has rendered the children anxious. The Eyes of Tammy Faye
In the battle between faith and wealth, the winner is obvious for greed in this director's brilliantly over-the-top film adaptation about the fallen TV preacher plus her lawbreaking partner. Andrew Garfield plays the venal Jim, who declares early on, asserting religious justification for riches. He and Tammy Faye commence monetising the nation's religious faith. It's an extravaganza of poor styling, overdone appearance and bad faith, yet Jessica Chastain achieves to show the character in a likable light. Tuesday 14 October, 1.15am, Film4
